I'm not sure how all this would work...But I'm willing to try

Is this what you are suggesting...
I was thinking more along the lines of what mrnewbie said but I don't see why what you sketched wouldn't work.

No not really. Information can be found but is spread around all over the place. Searching the forum is your best bet. Yes, the motor should automatically move when you select a channel on a different satellite (assuming you have the "Auto drive on channel-change" box checked). Right below that ther...

Yes you add every satellite you plan on accessing, one at a time. No, sats only use one type either circular or linear. You will find that most use circular (Dish and BEV). You will need to scan each satellite and store it in a memory position in the motor. You could use USALS but I think that stori...

Diseqc setting choose None. In Satellite properties choose "NA Legacy". This will set the LOF1 to 11250000. For the 22 KHz tab choose On or Off based on what side of the switch you have connected the circular input. Now on the second satellite, choose "NA Legacy" again but this time change LOF1 to 1...

You have the wrong LNBs. 118.7 uses circular lnbs but the TP frequencies are below the standard 12200MHz. You need to get a LNB that has both LOFs (10700 and 11250) so that you can get both 18.7 and 119. Do a google search for 118.7 LNBs and you will see what I mean.

You can let it sit there all you want, it won't help. DVBEPG does not support 9-day guide in dvbdream. It only works in the MyTheatre version.

What kind of streaming are you doing? Non-existing IP? Are you using Unicast? I recommend you use multicast and broadcast to the subnet (x.x.x.255). Unless you have a router that can't handle it (wireless routers can some times choke). I use this all the time and have no issues.

Got this patch this morning and after a few hours of testing I see much improvement. The crashes are gone. The screen freezes also seem to be much improved. While still happening, now it is on occasion instead of constantly as before.

Thanks, Rel

I agree, lot's of crashes and instabilities for no apparent reason. Just about anything can make it crash. Don't have to wait too long either, usually within a few minutes.

I don't know anything about mplayer but if you want to stretch VLC just right-click on the video and select "crop" then 16:9 that will stretch the video.

1.4e - Lot of crashes and stability issues

Note: Split from other topic (DVB Dream - Freeware) -Dreamer Thanks for all your work but I must say that I been having a lot of crashes and stability issues with the last couple of releases. ddsource.ax is usually to blame. Also get a lot of video freezes, the video buffer is usually completely em...

Re: Audio but no Video with BEV HD

I am having no problems with SD, Nvidia and Cyberlink are both working OK. Once I switch to HD, I get audio but no video. I have tried all different renderers, different decoders with no luck. Has anyone come across this issue before, any fixes or ideas I am using Vista Ultimate, X2 4600, 2G Ram Sk...

You have to tune to a channel on a transponder that carries the EPG. The transponder that carries the EPG is different on every satellite. What satellite are you getting?

I am using a twinhan sensor so I programmed mine to emulate a Twinhan remote (it's in the logitech database) and DD supports the remote directly so no other software is needed. Works like a champ. Also don't forget DVBEPG has it's own shortcut keys so program those for navigation while inside it.
