Darn good question. At one time it was here, IIRC, under the utilities section. But right now today I can't find it. Maybe it's zipped up with the BDA driver these days.where can i download the bda console?

You are most welcome. Even though Dish Network sats are not a good prospect for FTA signals, if you can handle a 1m dish, preferably with a rotating mount to "hit" multiple satellites, there are a whole lot of other sats that are. In north America, these are mostly foreign language and religious cha...

I was told that "skywalker 1" is the best , but I think it's a little bit expensive. I just want to know if there is another DVB-S card not really expensive, but something that will help me get channels from sats such as: "61.5W, 110W & 119W. Well, yes there is. I personally own a PCI bus Twinhan 1...

But can you please tell me waht's the use of installing "DVB DREAM" software on a laptop or a desktop pc ?! Isn't it for watching TV?! That is correct. But your laptop or desktop needs a compatible tuner in order to tune in satellite or terrestrial Digital Video Broadcasts. As genpix said, these ar...

ATSC support
I bought a KWorld 310U DVB-T Stick ($15 after rebate) which surprisingly enough appears in your list of supported devices . I think y'all must be using this successfully in Europe. But I live in the US and I dredged up this message from an old thread: ATSC is not supported on DD. Any BDA ATSC device...

Re: What is going on?
why does it have so much trouble switching DP34 with a D* receiver connected? Mine is working reliably. I've even cobbled together a custom switch for my new 625... I cannibalized a DishPro Plus twin for it's switch, which is now on the DP34 passthrough ports. ;) Now my DP34 is only powered by a si...

Re: DN hd channels reception
Yeah, me! xopowo is right. Our cards can't handle 8psk. At one time there was a fishtank demo HD channel on 61.5 which I was dying to see on my PC just to say I'd done it. It was even mpeg-2. But no go because of the 8psk problem.anyone else have this problem?

This doesn't help much, but I'm successfully using a DP twin (and DP dual) through a DP34 switch, with a Twinhan 1025. This model is the precursor to your 1027, so I think it is very similar. I'm using the Twinhan BDA driver version 1.2.3.8 for my card, and the latest DD 1.4. I have the switch (and ...

Which BDA interface do you use on DD for Twinhan 1025? BDA_Native or ScanMan's BDA_ALL? BDA_Native. ScanMan's BDA_ALL very efficiently crashes my computer 100% of the time when I restart DD. :( Any other suggestions, or anything I can try? Well... How about rotating to a known satellite, and direct...

I'm having great success with DD 1.4g correctly controlling my DP34 switch. This is a DishPro (bandstacked) diseqc 1.2 -compatible switch with 3 sats in, and 4 receiver outputs. I'm not familiar with your LNBs, but I am guessing that they are not bandstacked. So... All you probably have to do is mak...

I am listening to channel 977 right now. :D I have not observed a crash of 1.4f. Some obvious differences between your setup and mine: Me You ---------------------- 1025 1020a W2K XP 1 CPU dual Also, I did not go directly to 1.4f but instead first installed the patch to 1.4e. Let me add that I could...

I do not have this issue, and I'm using almost if not exactly the same card as you. Running Twinhan BDA driver v 1.2.3.8 dated 2006/04/03. One thing you might try is running the BDA Console app from Twinhan. (Icon looks like a space shuttle.) This allows you to control various boot-time setup option...

Ahem. Looks like you know a whole lot more than I do about that transponder. Lyngsat still shows it as encrypted, too. At least you have one of the few tuners that can handle 8PSK. I mistakenly thought I was going to see the fish channel with my Twinhan 1025... Sadly no chance of that given (virtual...

DD 1.4 scans nicely with my 1025 using the Twinhan BDA v.1.2.3.8 (2006. 05) drivers. I believe this is the same driver as your card uses. I tried the WDM driver once on DD 1.3c, but I don't remember what happened. (Whatever it did, it wasn't better than the 1.2.3.8 driver!) I definitely went back to...
