You might try disabling the CoreAVC codec temporarily to see if DD remains stable. If DD remains stable you might want to play with the buffer sizes for the H.264 codec.

Are you possibly using a DP34 switch, if so you might not have enough power to power this switch? Have you tried eliminating any switches by running direct from lnb to the card? More information about your setup would be helpful.

Go to Options>Preferences>Performance and try setting your lnb to 18+vdc setting......may or may not help.

If you have a meter you could check the output of your card using a short piece of coax with one end skinned back and making sure conductors are separated and not shorted. A little more information about what lnb your using would be helpful.I have a feeling your problem is in how you set things up in the diseq. section.

I'm having trouble getting ffdshow H264 codec to show up in DD. I have gotten CoreAVC and ATIradeon codecs working but would like to know if anybody else has gotten ffdshow to show up in DD. I tried copying the .ax file to the system32 folder but no go. Any hint would be appreciated,,,,,
