1.4i not passing raw diseqc commands

Was anyone able to pass raw commands to a diseqc switch? My setup is DP44 with a 110/119 twin pro lnb connected to port 1/2 respectively and a 129 single pro lnb going to port 3. If I pass bypass the switch, I am getting signal from all of them. However, I do not get any signal through the switch. I...

Let me save you a week (or month if you don't know how to search for info) of hell ... I had gone through the same issue and waisted a week of research. I find that nobody in this forum is willing or knowing how to help. For HD MPEG-2 enocded (like ESPN HD) channels, I find the best codec to be Nvid...

I think I might have the answer why it's no workie ... According to this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=900747 the reason why h.264 does not do hardware acceleration is because we need to use Enchaced Video Renderer instead of VR and VR9. Is there a way to get this in the li...

Enchaced Video Renderer for Vista

Hi, According to this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=900747 the reason why h.264 does not do hardware acceleration is because we need to use Enchaced Video Renderer instead of VR and VR9. Is there a way to get this in the list (the same way we can edit the codecs file)? Thanks

h.264 PowerDVD video acceleration?

Hi,

Any chance of getting PowerDVD h.264 codec using dxva? In the general section the h.264 sticky, someone mentions that it works with AltDVB.

Maybe this will help to get things straighten up:

Thanks for your help.

ok, got mpeg2 sorted out. Installed Vista and Purevideo, so MPEG2 playback is great now. When I watch ESPNHD, the GPU goes to 15-16% so DXVA kicks in. Still having h.264 problems though. I think it's a bug in DVBdream. Tried using coreavc on both my Vista dekstop (HD2600 PRO) and Vista laptop (512mb...

Tested PowerDVD 8 h.264 (had to edit Guids.ini) in Vista. Does not use the GPU at all :( (although it's supposed to).

any chances of getting it fixed soon?

forgot to add that when I watch mpeg2 hi-def (like ESPN), the picture is cropped and there are some artifacts starting from the left and the bottom and span to the right depending on motion intensity.

HELP with DVB Dream - Skywakler 1 - HD2600 pro

Has anyone been successful with HD2600 and DVB Dream? I run into various issues, I think related to the fact that DVB Dream does not use the card's GPU. Instead, it uses the CPU for mpeg decoding. My problems are: 1) Choppy mpeg2 video when I use Cyberlink DTV or ARCSoft as mpeg2 codec. Basically, i...
