ProjectX probably displays that error message because of that it cant produce a compliant mpeg output from that. (DVD-compliant mpg files needs smaller GOPs) try other so...

hi,

it wasnt very useful. (most of tuners have AFC. it was not possible to get correct signal strength for the specified frequencies)

its only usage was to setup motors (dish rotors). But now you can do that using manual scan dialog. (by keeping the dialog open during dish movement)

I hope you can find enough resource about streaming over net. VLC is open source, also there might be open source apps/plugins to do streaming. DD displays video bitrate at status bar. I am still not able to find a proper description using google so I'll try searching and experimenting again. try to...

Hi Pit,

some users might not want scanner to update/change channel names because they might have changed channel name themselves. (DD lets you change channel name in channel properties)

a new checkbox with a label (for ex. "updatable") on channel properties might help I think.

ciao :-)

if you checked all the FAQ suggestions, (if you have right ss2 versions of the sys,ax and dll files that are described in FAQ 9)

then another app might be working at background and trying to use SS2 at the same time . causing error code 6 (= cant initialize tuner )
