Get a Free DD Licence by preparing logos:


You can get a free DVB Dream licence !, if you can help us preparing a package of logo files for EPGPlus module (complete logo files for a satellite or a country/provider if DVB terrestrial/cable)

All info you need is included in EPGPlus settings window. (channel logos tab) You can easily download the logos from lyngsat and other channel listing sites / providers own web sites.

You just need to make sure someone else hasn't already prepared the logo files for the satellite you are working on ! (Check in this forum thread, since all logo packages will be listed here)

We are currently in need of NA (US/Canada) and DVB-Terrestrial/Cable provider logos...

Conditions:
* You will need to rename a lot of files after downloading to match channel names in DVB Dream. (This is the main/heavy task of preparing a logo package) You can confirm on epgplus module that logos are visible.
* Satellite should be an active and popular one. Not just with a few channels. In that case, you can send a few such satellite logos together. Make sure your work is comparable to given 28.2e package.
* Please make sure at least 90% of the TV channels have channel logos in your package. Since some channels don't have channel logos at all. You can check wikipedia and google if you can't find a logo in sat listings.(lynsat etc)
* It is better to keep channel names in file names , and only make a "NID_SID.jpg" version if needed.. (when names conflict etc)
* You should send your channel list as well ("chlist.chl" file from the DVB Dream installation folder)

Sorry but you need to do some renaming. most of channels logos don't show up in EPG+.

added pimenta's new work 13e hotbird logos into first post.
Btw sorry all but I still haven't seen any good work like pimenta's .
Some of you send satellite logos for small satellites (with only a few channels) comparing to 1000+ channels of hotbird astra etc.. pimenta he alone prepared all of these.
Another problem, most of the channel logos are not visible on EPG Plus. You need to rename the files to match channel names and search in Wiki and Google too to find those channels that are not listed in lyngsat. Not necessarily all channels should have logos but most of them actually have logos
