I do not have this issue, and I'm using almost if not exactly the same card as you. Running Twinhan BDA driver v 1.2.3.8 dated 2006/04/03. One thing you might try is running the BDA Console app from Twinhan. (Icon looks like a space shuttle.) This allows you to control various boot-time setup options, such as whether to apply power to the LNB, LNB type, etc. or let the application (DD) control this function.

Yes, Twinhan's BDA drivers have this kind of bug. Sometimes you get no signal, the other time you get the signal all right but no picture, or diseqc is not switching to some port, finally it seems like a universal converter appears as "locked" (i.e. frequencies from 11700 are working and not below, or vice versa).

The cure for this weird stuff is running TwinhanData or THDVBS_BDA_Test.exe (whatever you like):

1) Lock both sort of frequency from there (below/above 11700). This is enough to get all your DVB apps running until you sleep/hibernate/powerdown.

2) Switch to one port of the diseqc (e.g. A), then switch to desired port (the next time your DVB app is launched it should switch even if you still get no signal in TwinhanData!)

But you need to perform this trick every time you boot or go out of power saving modes.

Darn good question. At one time it was here, IIRC, under the utilities section. But right now today I can't find it. Maybe it's zipped up with the BDA driver these days.
