This is a support ticket i sent to Sapphire

My old graphics card was the Sapphire HD 2600 XT 256mb GDDR3 which i was running with the TBS 8920 Digital Satellite Tv Card with DvbDream software The codec i was using with the Tv card was the ATI V9.15.0.233-13.07.2007, And i was getting a superb picture ,crystal clear. I upgraded to the Sapphire 3650 512mb as above but the driver install did not load the ATI codec i was using befor , so i installed Avivo from the 2600 Xt instalation Cd which gave me the ATI codec but the picture was no where near as good as it was with the older card the 2600 Xt in fact it was very poor. Is there anything i can do to improve the Tv picture to the same Quality as i was with the 2600 Xt

While im waiting for a reply any ideas would be grateful

Thank you in advance Bill

you can try different video renderer and codecs on DVB Dream, try to modify codec options as well. Some codecs and all renderers depend on hardware, so you might need to try different options with different hardware
