Wavy vertical lines

Postby MichaelAndTheDish » Mon Jul 18, 2016 2:49 pm

I run DVB Dream on my laptop to watch satellite channels from TBS5980 tuner. Every time when the line, that is not horizontal, is moving across the screen it is not straight, it's wavy. Same channel watched on a different player, in my case it is TBS Viewer, all lines are straight, no waving. Do I miss a CPU power, or software? My laptop is pretty new Dell Inspiron, Windows 8.1 64

Hi,
it looks like simple deinterlacing problem.

Just change codecs, or make sure you enable deinterlacing on the codecs you use. (if they support it)

To reach codec options : DVB Dream main menu->options->video options->right click on the video codecs at the right side(active filters)
Enable / try with different deinterlacing settings. I recommend LAV codecs
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
