Is multiple instances of DvbDream possible?

Postby jerryt » Wed Jun 21, 2006 2:45 pm

Is it possible to have more than one copy of DvbDream running, like on three different PCI cards at the same time in the same computer?

Thanks

One PCI and one USB device work OK, so far at the same time.

It is possible, I saw screenshot with 2 DD (2 SS2 cards). You need Technisat drivers v4.4.0, then choose card in Setup4PC (if you have Skystar2/Airstar2/Cablestar2), open 2nd DD and then update channel - switch on 1st DD (if I remember good). If you have other card, I don't know...

Command line option "-card1 / -card2" would be useful though.

It works!!!
Three instances of DvbDream running at the same time on one computer.

One Twinhan 1020a, one Skystar2 ver 2.6 and one Genpix usb module.

Works perfectly, I installed in three different folders DvbDream1, 2, and 3.
Three different transponders or satellites not a problem.

@dreamer, maybe another feature to list.

2 same cards/drivers (or also Skystar2 and Airstar2 - DVB-S/DVB-T) is a bigger problem, therefore option "-card1 / -card2" would be useful.
