Few comments:
- it looks very nice, but too too colourful for me
- some Czech/Slovak EPG chars are displayed incorrectly, only solution for now is to use corrected EPG font, it can be changed in DD options, but SimOSD doesn't use it
- are any new features planned? channel list, teletext...
Thanks.

Did you tried the last 1.1.1 version (I've made a mistake... The link on PCTVSat board and DVBDream.de website was pointing to the old 1.1 release )- some Czech/Slovak EPG chars are displayed incorrectly, only solution for now is to use corrected EPG font, it can be changed in DD options, but SimOSD doesn't use it
Yes I think, but Simoh would be able to give more information about that.- are any new features planned? channel list, teletext...

Thanks FredB, it's great that we have the first public OSD with the channel list. Sim OSD looks very promissing.
I have many suggestions, but don't know where I should post them. It would be best if Simoh would check this forum, it's a DVB Dream modul. Perhaps we could use the "Testers" forum section, I'd like to help with testing too.
OK, I'll post my suggestions here, for now, I'll update the list later.
- automatically show ch. list on ch. change option, for TV window and Fullscreen only
- option to change satellite
- skins / ability to change the colors (current is too colorful for me, perhaps blue skin and black/silver/glassy vista like)
- smaller text sizes
- remember ch. list font size
- smaller channel list size (1/3 of the width)
- smaller EPG pane size
- transparency
- disable "[C][<-][->]" item on mouse move, it's shown also in window mode and it's quite annoying
- move the scroll "arrow" buttons and [TV][Radios] to right side, also arrow buttons looks vice versa to me (down/up > up/down)
- move the whole ch. list to left side, as option
- change the keyboard shortcuts, F1 should be available for help, Space is reserved for "Stop Auto-Zapper"
- advanced epg
- teletext
- subtitles
- open/play video files
- scan

As you've already noticed PCTVSat is a french board, but since few day i've translated some navigation so you might be able to post comments hereI have many suggestions, but don't know where I should post them. Simoh is also a member of DD official board, but he is not very familiar with English ( he can read fine, but writing in English is a hard job for him )
... But he has a good friend that give him some help

OK, so could you point him to this topic please? As I said, this project looks promissing, I don't watch sat. on TV, just on monitor, but I use TV window often, so good OSD would be useful also for me and I care also about other people, so I hope SimOSD will be better and better, more customizable, with more features.Simoh is also a member of DD official board, but he is not very familiar with English ( he can read fine, but writing in English is a hard job for him )

Thank you FredB, merci Simoh!

Hi, thanks and respect
great OSD module, I like it really much !
Now you should do some work on the design (imho), see Dreamer's list - first of all skin's ability, transparency and smaller text sizes. the integration of an option that lets change the user the background color is really important (imho).
I think the channel list is too wide and too big. But I'm really happy and grateful that DD now has one.
Can I create a German language file for SimOSD?
