Wompienc 0.70 Alpha Build 1000 http://www.rescuityonline.com/Wompienc.exe

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, I'm sure the mod can move it if needed.

That out of the way, I wish you the best of luck with my work and I hope it makes your life a lot easier.

Please reply with bug reports, feature requests and of course the happy comments on how this saved you life! lol =^.~=

Introduction
------------

I wrote this because of a lack of programs on the market and the complicated way
you can remove commercials and reencode files to avi is now. Hopefully someone
will code a whole program that will do this, but before then I am hoping this will
do fine.

Right now this program will take all mpeg2 and mp3 *.ts files in your recording folder
take out the commercials using comskip, and reencode them to 1200kbps Divx, and
192kbps mp3 ... I hope to add more codec output and input options in the future.

I have also designed this program to work alongside DVBDream, I don't know what it
will work with and what it won't work with.

Installation
------------

1. Extract the program to your C drive
2. Download and install/extract these programs/dll's:

3. Run the setup.bat file and follow the directions. The examples for the settings
are the default values, so if you can use that setting, just press enter

Recording Settings In DVBDREAM
------------------------------
Record Options
Record Format: ts
Audio Sync: 0ms
File Naming: $1_$2
TS Records
Teletext on rest off

Usage
-----

Run the process.bat located in the main directory and watch it go! =^.^=

The program will make a near copy of the ts file into the source directory for the
program, will move that to the temp directory, do it's thing, then after it's done
it will move it to the done directory

Commercial Detection
--------------------

The commercial detection system is modular, in the fact that you can put in your own
settings for detection for the comskip program. They would go into the comskip ini
directory. The program I made will select the comskip ini depending on what is
detected to be before the delimeter in the file that it is working with. It compares
what is there and tries to match it with what's in the txt files in the Station_Names
directory. It takes the name of the txt file that contains the name of the station
and uses that to select the ini file.

So say you want certain rules for your favourite fox channel. Well, around the nation
there is many fox affiliates, so let's say your favourite fox channel is named KCPQ.
You would make a txt file in the Station_Names directory names FOX.txt and have the
text "KCPQ", without the quotes, in the file. Then you would go to the Comskip_ini's
Directory and put all your settings in a FOX.ini

I apologize for how buggy the last release was, it should have been held back a bit longer. This release has been throughally tested and should work for most. I will be adding the ability to process AC3 audio very soon.
