A problem with the device in Dvbdream 1.7a with Aver3D 889

Postby cometofuture » Thu May 10, 2012 10:28 pm

Dvbdream 1.7a doesn't recognize more than one moon in Aver3D satellite R889.

When I scan LNB 2 it gives me the same channels in LNB 1 .The problem is with the BDA device becuase Dvbdream 1.7a with very well in my previous card Tevii s660 ,the program see all LNBs in the Diesqc.

I need a good device for Aver 3D Satellite R 889

in other words,
DvbDream does not know how to send diseqc command using BDA driver of your new card.

This is exactly the reason why this card is not in the list of supported hardware, don't you think so?
Read the explanation in supported devices section.

Find the SDK (info from manufacturer of this card) which shows how to send Diseqc command using this BDA driver, post it here, and Rel may implement this card support (when he gets to it in his busy schedule).

That is right.Thanks

I have downloaded the latest driver from the Card's site and then it works. It can see now the diesqc and all the moons. However, when I scan for channels it doesn't see all transporters and so many channels are lost but this doesn't happen in the previous Card why?

example:

My previous Card(Tevii s660 s2) results for Nilsat full scan : 1100 channels

but

My new Card (Aver3D Satellite R889) results for Nilsat full scan : 890 channels

Why this happen since Aver3D is newer and more modern than Tevii 660 ?
