Positioner not always responding when changing satellites

Postby dmyers6 » Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:59 pm

My Satellite Positioner does not always change position when I select a channel on another satellite. I have "Auto-Drive :?: on Start-Up" and "Auto-Drive on Channel Change" selected.

It always changes to the correct satellite on start-up if I shut it down, but after about 2 or 3 more times of changing positions, it stops working.

If I select "Confirm Motor Driving," it will work, but I have to confirm everytime I change satellites.

I have the Positioner Type set to "Generic Diseqc."

Maybe it needs some sort of delay after changing the channel and selecting the correct LNB port on the DiSEqC Switch, and before it sends the DiSEqC command to the Dish Positioner.

VisionPlus 1020A, Twinhan 2.4.1.0 drivers, WinXpPro SP3, 10' Mesh Satellite Dish with a GBOX V3000 DiSEqC 1.2 Positioner connected to the 36V Dish Mover. DBS Circular LNBF, and a Corotor II C/Ku LNB.
