1/ Shortcuts created by installer are not fine, the line "Execute In" (I don't remember the exact fonction name in english) are empty so if used, DD don't starts in his root directory.
Here is a screen shot (french version of Windows XP) of a corrected shortcut.
2/ FFDShow codecs don't run with this 1.3 final release (reported by several users)... Perhaps an issue in the Guids.ini file (DD 1.3 Beta5 runs fine with those codecs)
