hi

Recording doesn't work good. I have recorded 4GB file (MPG). Result - it looks good in VlC only , but after 1 hour and half it starts freezing, then just black screen. I tried to cut it in MPG2CUT2 program (it looks good there, I can see whole file there ), but result is bad, freezing...

I had face this problem only when DD dosnt start record on the other file after 4 gig , ( i had chose max file recode 4 gig )

so the first file have error (black screen ,freez)

look at secand file still 0 mb after 10 min record

TS format is recommended for recording with DD. VLC handle TS format very fine, and if you want to burn recordings on DVD, you can use a software such as ProjectX to cut, correct and convert TS files to another format (PVA, MPEG-PS, ...) and then use an DVD Authoring software to create the Video DVD.

I generally have no trouble with MPG recording.

I use Womble MPEG VCR to edit and/or fix files. I can't say enough good things about that application.

Does it play in other players? Winamp? Playback in DD? I find DD actually makes a pretty nice MPEG player.

Set the recorded file size bigger than 4 G.

Same here.

Yes, or MPC (Media player classic).

Or to 0 - means no split. You should not have any problems with Win XP SP2.

Anyway, using TS would be probably the easiest solution of this problem.
