Ts recording- demuxing issues

Postby daWsOn_s » Fri Nov 24, 2006 4:44 am

Hello,
I record in TS (renderless mode on). From Monday I'm recording same program on same channel until 6GB (about 2:30 hours) and when I demux with projectx i have problems of synchronization like that:

VIDEO
!> dropping useless B-Frames @ GOP# 0 / new Timecode 00:00:00.000
!> PID 0x200 -> packet 2798064 @ pos. 526035844 out of sequence (1/6) (shifting..) (~00:11:58.480)

!> PID 0x28B -> packet 2798424 @ pos. 526103524 out of sequence (15/5) (shifting..) (~00:11:58.960)

-> adjusting audio at video-timeline
!> missing syncword @ 5872, @ 00:00:00.000
!> found syncword @ 5984
-> src_audio: MPEG-1, Layer2, 48000Hz, stereo, 192kbps, CRC @ 00:00:00.000
!> missing syncword @ 17267553, @ 00:11:59.184
!> found syncword @ 17268176
!> missing syncword @ 17269329, @ 00:11:59.232
!> PTS without a frame (17269552/17269553)

It makes, at the end, video and audio freeze to maintain synchronization and it's not good. Do you thing is a program problem or dimension file?

I guess the problem is definitely of DD cause is the only one that use more cpu during record and 30% in renderless mode.

In most cases, synchro issues don't came from the software in use (DD, MyTheatre, DVBViewer, and so on...) but from TS signal itself.

So are you saying that it's trasmission problem, of the broadcaster? The signal is 98% quality and power :wink:

The fact that quality and level of signal received from the TP is at 100% does not mean that the quality of initial signal received by the TP is at 100%.

I think you just need to check if it happens only with the same channel.

DD just records the stream as is when TS record format is selected. (in other words, no post processing is done after stream is received)
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
