Why can't anybody help? Weekly request to enter registration key

111 views and no solution. Surely other registered users must be experiencing something like this too.

I'm running Windows 10 and have had this problem for a while.
The software asks me for my registration key once a week, I enter it and it acts as if registered for a week and then asks again.
I've tried DVD fix several times to no avail.
Last week I uninstalled DVB Dream, searched the registry for all instances of the program and removed them.
I then did a clean install in the original directory that the software was located.
Entered my registration key and waited.
A week later it's just asked me for the key
Please help.

I am unable to reprodcuce your problem.
Just make sure you run DVB Dream as administrator everytime. (right click & run as administrator)
System rights or some other software might be cleaning up registration records.

Also you can try to disable UAC, that will make things a lot easier

Running the program as administrator cures the problem.

Did you ever resolve this problem? I am experiencing the same issue. Win 11. Asked to enter my registration number every week or so

I have the same issue every couple of months. It seems to occur more often when there has been a software hung up such as tuner no signal then no response after that I get the default device dialog box and then the request for registration. On some occasions, simply restarting the program without inputting the registration key will resolve it.

I have 2 instals exceptions of DVB Dream running on my single PC one for tuner A and the other for Tuber B in two seperate folders and I will get both asking for registrahtion at the same time so it must be a issue in the Windows registry files area.

I just live with it but if it was weekly certainly it would be more annoying.

If you are wondering why 2 instals. That way I can monitor my C band on tuner A and Multi Ku setup on Tuner B at the same time with no issues.

I never get this issue anymore. And I used to have it all the time. I just changed the properties of the program to always run as administrator, and that solved the problem for me.

Hallo , heb dezelfde (bug)problemen sinds korte tijd als hier al beschreven : steeds wordt regelmatig gevraagd om registratiesleutel , paswoord enz.. in te voeren na zeer vele onderbrekingen van het beeld .
Heb reeds volledig het programma (nieuwste versie) meermaals opgestart (enkele minuten alles ok ... ) maar daarna ervaar ik steeds hetzelfde probleem , vroeger nooit gehad .
Misschien is een nieuwere versie van de huidige software wel eens noodzakelijk ?
