After diligently both searching the internet and the forum I couldn't find anything on that topic, so my suggestion:
Being used to that function from WinDVR I would love a(n) module/option in DD that displays the remaining recording time instead of the elapsed time. Unfortunately I have no experience in programming, but I'm guessing it's no big deal since I managed to create my own solution with an excel file that is fed with START and STOP time for a test recording (->duration) FILESIZE (+ duration -> average "bitrate") and FREE SPACE and then roughly prompts the time left. I assume DD can get the numbers for the stream's bitrate and the free space on the drive quite easily so it's just simple arithmetic.
Anyway, of course I would also love being proved wrong on my research and taught about an existing comfortable solution.
