Nrmf,

I did not have time to test the new software yet. Perhaps tonight I will confirm your problem.

BTW, how much time did it take to ge the problem ? 30 minutes, a hours, 2 hours ?

I do not believe that this is a problem with the new software as I have been using it now since it's beta Testing and it has worked with Very few glitches.

I have recorded a 2 hour PPV with no issues on the audio and watched countless Sports PPV's ie Jerry Springer, TNA, UFC, PFC etc etc etc and I do not have any audio issues or gremlins changing my channels.

Nrmf,

I tried to watch PPV channel for about 2-3 hours in a row but couldn't reproduce your problem.

However, I might get a explanation:

When you put your mouse around the channel window and play with the thumbwheel, it change the channel to up and down. If your mouse is pointing the video instead, the thumbwheel change the volume level. Perhaps by mistake you wish to change the channel but the mouse wasn't pointing on the channel section. with the wheel gown down, you shut off the volume. After that, you may try to play with the thumbwheel again on the channel windows and did change you channel this time.

I know... it happen to me soo many times

Hope this was clear enough !

you might have accidently set the "auto-zap" ?

right click on any channel then click on "Auto zap"

use Intervideo Audio codec if you can (it works better as an audio codec)

can you reproduce the same problem there? (or it happened just once)

.is this a good thing
think you are eating and cant use keyboard, but you want to know what is going on other channels. Auto zap will automatically change channels for you with specified interval (in prefences) and you can just press SPACE key to stop it when you need it.

Nrmf,

Have you installed DDremote on DD 1.1h ? That was not soppose to work ?

If not, nothing suppose to work with your remote, unless there another program that grab the signal and do something with it. I know that MyTheatre could cause strange problem if you installed it on the same computer with DD, it could "catch" signal and do unpredicted changes.

Otherwise, if DDremote is not installed, uven if your receiver get IR signal from somewhere else, the computer just don't know how to treat this signal (sending strings to witch program)

hello all
I was also experiencing no audio on some channels (most radio channels of premiere 19.2E and some tvs too). I solved it by going into ffdshow audio configuration, on the codecs branch I've changed mp1/mp2 codec to libmad and now all the channels plays fine.
P4 3.0GHz 1024 MB of ram, nvidia Geforce 6600, SS2 rev 2.6, WDM drivers 4.41, SG2100, always latest DVBDream with the latest FFDshow.
