No refresh of event name...

Postby Tom_ » Sun May 20, 2007 4:46 am

Hello,
I realized that DVDdream 1.3c will not refresh the event name while recording...
It only takes the event name at the moment of starting the program or changing channel. So if I start/change channel a moment before recording, the event name and file name will be wrong.

When I record from a second PIP window, the event name of the main window will be used as file name (this is ALWAYS wrong).

It would be nice if you can fix these 2 problems.

I also do not know how exact the event info of the broadcasting is transmitted...
If it changes at the same moment as the event begins the will be no problem, but if the event info is delayed some seconds or minutes or if I start the recording some minutes before the actual brosdcast start (I think that's the normal way of recording... ;-) ) there will be the same "wrong-name-problem" as described, if the info is taken at the beginning or the recording without any refreshs while recording.

I hope you could understand, my english is not the best...

Tom

DD doesnt have EPG parser working all the time. It just works during channel switches for a second or so.
This is a preference to minimize CPU usage and maintain program stability.

also EPG parser will work only for main channel, not for pips.
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
