DVB Dream use only 2 front speakers

My computer audio output is 5.1 but the DVB DREAM only use 2 front speaker.

Progdvb or MyTheatre is able to utilize 5.1 speaker, why not DVB DREAM?

make sure you use audio codecs which support 5.1 (Intervideo works well here with AC3)

change the Intervideo options for 5.1. (video options->Active filters->Intervideo)
