1.3a - Recording vs Scheduler - annoying bug

Postby Dreamer » Sat Dec 02, 2006 2:51 pm

If scheduler is set to recod something and I start recording (manually) earlier, this recording is aborted without any confirm dialog and scheduled recording is started. It's very annoying, since you can forget that you have a task in scheduler easily and then lost important program or movie.

Antivirus, Avant Browser, DVB Dream, FFDShow, Free Download Manager, freeCommander, HotkeyP, Kerio Personal Firewall, Media Player Classic, Nero, OpenOffice.org, Orca Browser, Photofiltre, PTBSync, Skype, Spybot, Trillian, Xnview, ZipGenius...

I confirm..the "Scheduler" problem

Also, how can you shedule a record stopping while you are already recording for eg when you need to go out after starting to record ?
I tried "Record for 60 min etc...recording stops and a new file starts

P.S. Thank you for the super wonderful dvb dream program, especialy its 1.3 version where mpeg2 recording does'nt drain on CPU resources...(with my CPU,watching needs only around 14% and recording in (mpeg) adds around 5% more....This is exceptionnal

Try File > Sleep Timer, but change "When finished" to "Quit".

fixed

it will display a warning message and will need user confirmation:
SCHEDULER_WARNING_MSG=Channel will be changed due to a scheduled record. Do you want to let it stop the current record?
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
