I got a similar problem but not exactely the same related by ingeras.

Older version (0.8.7b), when exiting, I wwas unable to restart DVB dream program, Windows gives a error telling me that he encounter a error and blablabla.. In fact, DVB dream was still in process in task manager. Just have to kill process in task manager and restart DVB Dream without problem.

With the new DD 1.0 and later, the process disappear when exiting. BUT if I restart DVBDream, it try to initialise the program, the black screen appear with DVBDream appears to but before initialise all the options (the options written in black), it hang my CPU soo much that I have to reset my computer (unable to kill progress into control panel).

I don't know if other persons got thoses kinf of problem. Perhaps it's on to-do list of Rel.

Don't use old modules and try to remove plugins, one by one, use just one plugin if possible.

So far, I tried to remove module until my system get stable (i.e. runnung DD 10 minutes while switching channel, stop DD, restart it, watch TV again,....) doing it 3 times.

I found out that removing DDschedule stabilise everyting. Coincidence ? I don't know BUT I experience many times that programming a channel to be record cause a error in DD. This has been reported a long time ago, but this problem persist.

Until DDschedule is mot optimise/modify, I will remove it from my module list.
