Can't get Delphi example to compile...help

I've loaded the "simple" delphi example into Turbo Delphi 2006.

Each time that I run the project, I get this error:

[Pascal Fatal Error] simple.dpr(13): F1026 File not found: 'ExceptionLog.dcu'

I then remove the reference to the ExceptionLog from the simple lib.

Once I try to compile again, I get this error:

Code: Select all

[Pascal Fatal Error] F2039 Could not create output file '..\..\..\..\..\Modules\simple.mod'

I just created the folder path.

Once I try to compile again, I get this error:

Code: Select all

Could not find program, 'F:\projects\other\dvbdream\dvbdream.exe'

Do I need to have the executable installed in order to compile this app?

Does anyone have a delphi project example that compiles?

Go to Run | Parameters and update the Host Application path 'F:\projects\other\dvbdream\dvbdream.exe' to the physical path for DVBDream.EXE in your computer..

It now all makes sense. We just have to in Delphi turn off the items and call up the procedures that we want to see with retail version, when I buy it.
Clever piece of software writing the api hooks for this.
