*twinhan BDA DVB-T PCI-E doesn't tune in v1.5x*

Postby daWsOn_s » Sat Apr 24, 2010 1:41 pm

I have a problem with this version (not in 1.4i).

I'm using twinhan BDA DVB-T PCI-E and when I switch frequency it won't work, it doesn't lock the channel.
I dont know what is the criteria but it only opens the channels at 698Mhz. I tried to switch frequency with other players but when I reopen it still continues to only show (= receive signal) channels from 698mhz.

as I said, 1.4 works fine

yes.
I cleaned those files before saving so they are -new-. Tried to open 2 different frequencies which won't tune and the the one who gets tuned (they only one that works at 698mhz)

weird problem, please try to install v1.4i to another path and try again, if those frequencies really still work.

if works in v1.4i, and don't work in v1.5x

please try the following patches and tell me if any of these fixes the problem.

The first one fixed it!! :D
One question though, I don't know since when it was there I saw that in the scanning I can check "LCN". LCN is used here in my country but what exactly does it do? I can't see anything on dvbdream to order channels by LCN or at least see what the LCN is.

can you also try that if second patch also fixes the problem ? :) please.

LCN will fill in the ChNo field of the channel properties screen automatically during scan. Then you can use "remote" tab of the channel list to use channels in this order
