Arabic EPG charset problem

hi,

arabic epg appears as strange symbols and question marks like in the picture
i tried dd 1.5f and still the same problem
i also tried changing fonts without success

please help

can you click on "Raw" tab instead of "System Charset" and send me screenshot again ?

Which satellite and channel is this ?

sat is Nilesat 101 7.0°W

channel is OSN Shasha

transponder is 11862 V

all arabic epg channels on 7.0°W appear like that not only this channel

hi,

i found the correct charset that is used in raw-hex tab

the charset is iso-8859-6

Image

i compare the charset code in raw-hex tab to this iso-8859-6 charset table and i got
the correct arabic words

upcoming version 1.5h will fix the problem, please test.

You will need to enable 'Use system code page' option in localization settings to test it.
