"Always switch to preferred language" can hang app

Preferences->Localization->"Always switch to preferred language" can hang application (UI becomes unresponsive). It appearently happens if service audio pids or audio pid language descriptor changed since the last time. Unchecking the checkbox resolved the problem. Updating pid data ("Update all" in channel properties, or "manual scan") did not resolve the problem.

However, this workaround was not clear, and was difficult to pinpoint.
