At last I installed ver1.5f (skystar HD2/XP_32 pc) and found that it cannot display Greek even on the bottom bar, as you can see on the attached screen shots. I run also on the same pc ver1.4i p4 (same language settings) which seems to display Greek OK. The attached file shows the comparison of both DD versions for your info. How can this problem be solved?
I also noticed that on EPG window, I have to change from Unicode to Raw in order Greek to be dispayed.

The problem with the Greek characters set on ver 1.5f also exists on ver 1.5g...How this would be solved?

SimOSD doesn't support unicode, new DD versions support unicode EPG.
Do you see the characters without problem in EPG window ?


Can you upload some sample stream from that transponder for me to test?

How to capture a sample stream
1) Depending on the device you got there, you might first need to enable "Full TS" mode in device options restart DD
2) start "TSWriter" or "Stream Recorder" module on the problematic transponder, record about 100 mb
3) upload file to somewhere (Hotfile, Rapidshare).

Here are the EPG screen shots. In "unicode" Greek characters cannot be displayed but only in "raw", there is also a wrong displayed English character "T" in both screen shots, as seen in the zoom detail. Why SimOSD displays correctly Greek characters in ver1.4i

upcoming version 1.5h will fix the problem, please test.

You will need to enable 'Use system code page' option in localization settings to test it.
