Can't tune with FireDTV?

Can't tune with FireDTV?

Postby johandm_be » Thu Nov 22, 2007 7:11 pm

Hi,

I have been trying to use DVBDream 1.4d with my FireDTV DVB-S.
The FireDTV is upgraded to latest firmware, latest BDA drivers are installed.
The FireDTV works correctly on the same machine with the FireDTV Viewer application.

If I use it in DVBDream, I never see a signal. Therefore I can not even scan the channels. I am using a 4 way diseqc switch.

I have attached a log; note the:

[23/11/2007 2:54:02 : 23172] SBTune:0
[23/11/2007 2:54:02 : 23188] LOF1/LOFSW/LOF2:9750000/11700000/10600000 b22Khz:00
[23/11/2007 2:54:02 : 23188] SetDiseqc() Sw-Port:2 SwUncommitted:-1 DiseqcType:2
[23/11/2007 2:54:03 : 23828] [TimeProfiler] SetDiseqc: 656 ms
[23/11/2007 2:54:03 : 23828] SBTune:1
[23/11/2007 2:54:03 : 23844] Tuning 12574, H, 22000...
[23/11/2007 2:54:03 : 23859] Result of Tune() = 1 (FAILED!! in 15 ms )
[23/11/2007 2:54:03 : 23859] SBTune:2
[23/11/2007 2:54:03 : 23922] SBTune:3

Note also that there is a problem with the codecs (I have been trying to get it to work with various ffdshow builds but so far no luck).

...But, for testing wether I can even tune the card to a signal, I have put DVBDream in renderless mode, I should be able to scan channels then, right ? ... but why is it not working ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Johan.

Sorry, the log attachement did not make in the original post...

Edit:

I also attached a BDA.LOG of when I attempt to do a manual scan on LNB#2 (of 4), 12574 MHz.

Hope this helps...
