1.5c - Record issue on some channels only

Postby Dreamer » Tue Jun 29, 2010 9:27 am

Recording works good on most HD channels, tested these FTA and scrambled:

28.2°E 11426,H,27500 FEC 2/3 ITV HD
28.2°E 12643,H,27500 FEC 2/3 Luxe TV HD (BSkyB)
19.2°E 11361,H,22000 8PSK FEC 2/3 arte HD (ZDFvision)
23.5°E 12109,H,27500 8PSK EUROSPORT HD (Skylink)

...But it's not OK on some - but not all! (CS*T) HD channels, only audio is recorded here:

19.2°E 12669,V,22000 8PSK FEC 2/3 SYFY HD (CS*T)
19.2°E 12669,V,22000 8PSK FEC 2/3 USHUAIA TV HD (CS*T)

On this CS*T channel also video is recorded:

19.2°E 12581,V,22000 8PSK FEC 2/3 M6 HD (CS*T)

I tried to open the files in MPC, MPC HC, and DVB Dream. Using ScanMan device v1.0.8.

probably this has nothing to do with DD. players simply doesn't support the video stream in the recorded files. (I believe)
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

OK, but what if no program is able to open that file (Inlc. DVB Dream)? I tried players, listed above and video editors: ProjectX (to demux, only audio output), AutoGK, Avidemux, Cyberlink PowerDirector... :(
