DVBDream 3.3 Constantly Crashing on Positioner Screen

Postby lifemasklifemask » Sun Jun 11, 2017 6:20 am

Hi, about my setup: I have a Primesat 1M dish with a Technomate TM 2600M3 Motor. It feeds into a DVB Sky PCI-e card onto a Windows 10 Machine. This is the card I'm using: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

I'm trying to set it up with full Diseqc compatibility, but my main sticking point is that DVBDream constantly crashes when I open the 'positioner' screen. It seems to crash at different times. Sometimes, it'll crash as soon as I open it up. Another very reliable way that it crashes is when I send the command to move the dish for X seconds or steps, my dish will move the required amount, but then I will get the 'DVBDream.exe has stopped working' message as soon as the move has completed. If it wasn't for this issue, I'd be very happy with DVB Dream and be able to purchase my copy, but for now it's driving me mad and is making my setup very difficult to use! Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's driving me mad!

Logs Attached

edit: it seems like I'm facing the same problem this user commented about: http://www.dvbdream.org/forum/viewtopic ... 572#p12280 - is the issue my DVB card? would this one: https://www.tbs-technology.de/shop/DVB- ... BS-6922-TE - be better?

As an update: for some reason, the problem seems to have stopped. Unfortunately for others in the same situation, I can't name anything I've changed that has caused the issue to fix itself. The only thing I can think of is that it was a very windy day when I was encountering the issue.
