First you can test with a ather driver
when Device - window left below you see "Display all devices" use this and test some athers.

second go in map and click on "ddreg" file.

please try to install v1.5c .
to another/different path (clean install)

and if it still doesn't work, try sending your bda.log file. (attach here)

It seems your mpg2splt.ax is overwritten by some other application or twinhan drivers. It is a Microsoft filter which DD uses. In your case, DD can't load it.
Can you attach your current mpg2splt.ax here for me to check ?
it should be located here "C:\Windows\system32\mpg2splt.ax"

the problem that i can't get back to previous version as some thing is making dd not recognising the device after new installation

it is because of this problem. probably caused by other software. not DD. You might have installen Twinhan related software which overwritten this flter.

v1.5d will automatically fix this
but you can simply run this command line too:

regsvr32.exe C:\Windows\system32\mpg2splt.ax
