Sometime dd 1.4e does not show the video when channel changing. at that moment the buffer number shown zero, while the TS number still jumping. So I have to select other channel and go back to that channel in order to the video shown up. this happens with mpeg2 hd.

Sometime DD 1.4e crash for no reason, even with mpeg 2 HD channel. I think I could replicate it with following steps:
1. Select channel
2. if no video shown up, and buffer number is zero - select video config option dialog
3. Unexpected error shown up.

I am going back to dd 1.4d, i may just go back to 1.3c version.

I agree, lot's of crashes and instabilities for no apparent reason. Just about anything can make it crash. Don't have to wait too long either, usually within a few minutes.

thanks for reporting,
I am aware of the issue and I've noticed the unexplainable/unexpected crashes here. Just couldnt locate the source of the problem yet. hard to catch.

I tried Auto-zap, about 100 channels, FTA, scrambled - no problems. Perhaps it's codec/renderer related - please add more info - which channel, codecs, renderer...

I have some problems with VMR9 in fullscreen, no other problems, 1.4e looks much beeter then 1.4d here.

It helps :)

I don't experience crashes and freezes any more.
I can open video properties without crash now.

I use CyberLink@VMR9.

AC3 codec is the worst one to play with.
