This controller will work with girder or hip. There is also an xp guide and driver to use this controllers receiver. You could also use a Usb-uirt receiver with hip or girder.

I have same remote too w/ USB Reciever.. How do we use it w/ DVBDream.. pls help! Thanks.

http://www.byremote.com.au/Hip/mce_remote_faq.htm Last I checked this only works with xp.

there is also another option. A Usb-uirt. Usable with girder or hip with just about any remote you have laying around the house.

What both these options do is emulate key strokes. So learn what dvb dreams keyboard shortcuts are.

I hope this helps you.

Important: If you use the alternate driver with mce remote it will no longer function with media center. However it will fuction with xbox 360.
