I am unable to find a conclusive answer in the forum on this subject. Several people had or currently have a similar problem but nobody acknowledged finding a solution.

I have DD v1.4i and, except for this problem, find it very stable.

My HW/SW configuration works with another (!) DVB viewer with full positioner control.

If I position my dish outside DD, I am able to scan and watch all channels on that position. Attempting to move the dish inside DD (using Options/Positioner) does nothing.

Trust me, I have read all the recommendations on how to configure the positioner in DD. Still it wont work.

Just an update. I've started using Mibi's plugin to drive the positioner.

To do that, I disabled the Positioner interface (Options/Positioner) and installed the plugin (SS2DiSEqC110) to Plugins\pip00.

It is a little quirky at times and I still wish that the integrated interface would work, but I can now switch Sat positions.

I'm enjoying DD!
