For those recording to view much later, or burn to DVD, option to save epg details of programme to record as text file in same recording folder ideal.

Since my 17 April post (now rusty !!!!). moved on from Hauppauge Nova-T (Technotrend Basic) card and tried several DVB-T and DVB-S cards. When record current programe, name is correctly read.

However, when use epg and scheduler, $4 does not read epg Prog Name, but defaults to "noevent" when look at name of file recorded.

Easy fix I wonder ????

Just one other observation to help resolution. If you schedule a big recording, not first but subsequent recorded segments do have correct name field.
