Dream crashes right after opening. I had it running perfectly for a while when it installed last night but, after shutting down and restarting today, No go. Here is what the error message says:

Since posting the first thread, I have:

1. Reverted back to an earlier version of the Technisat Skystar2 drivers I was using the latest drivers from their website (ver 2.4.4.5)
2. Tried turning off all security software and virus scanners
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled DVBDream and plugins. I did this from control panel which left some of the files in the C:\dvbdream directory. I installed over that and the installation was sucessful. I watched several hours of programing until I turned dvbdream off. Then, I got the error diagnostic and messages again. I have tried to turn it on several times while disabling virus software and nothing worked.

Even if nobody knows what this problem is, I would be happy to recieve any suggestions for what else I can try to fix it.

Always unselect "tune last channel on startup".

HA! Amazing that it would be so simple!

First, I uninstalled and reinstalled all of C:\dvbdream including the settings. I could not access the Prefrences without doing that. Then, I unselected the box in the Preferences and, when I shut it down, it crashed but I clicked on restart. The crash window went away so I shut down dream again. This time no crash message. I started it up again and it worked fine. It looks like we found something that needs fixing. Much gratitude for the tip!
