Timeshift for main window and PIP windows, with these options:

- Use RAM.
- Use HDD.
- Use RAM for first X minutes/MB, then use HDD (move data from RAM to HDD, if possible).
- Always use RAM and hotkey to enable/disable HDD (then move data from RAM to HDD, if possible).
- Standard timeshift options like: slider, rewind, forward, pause/continue - buttons and shortcuts.
- Show timeshift time and maybe also "-1min40sec".

- Special option (for videoclips...) - always start recording 10-30 seconds earlier (use RAM timeshift for this option) - of course, stop in real time, not earlier.
- Another special option - use timeshift as PIP window - play original on main window.

I like Timeshift a lot.

I use it to see movies and record videoclips, the implementation of timeshift that I like more is the implementation of saar.

I like the request of Dreamer, but for start I only ask:

- option for timeshift based in time or timeshift based in buffer size
- only ram, only hard disk and both
- when timeshift based in buffer size using hard disk, not limit to the amount of space that we want to use.
- option to record from timeshift faster then realtime.

This can make me a happy person :D

I agree, I used ProgDVB before but DVB Dream has more smooth video output (specially with non standard PAL format 720x576 like 704x576 or 544x576 channels). The TimeShift is very very useful for me.

Hello
I join to the request Dreamer, only I (I think that not only I) he depends on one:

- the Special option for videoclips - begin the recording 10-30 the (value ustawiena in options) of seconds earlier, after finishing yet 5 sek -

I Greet
