Disable VISTA Digital Driver Signature

Postby sixersclt » Fri Nov 02, 2007 1:10 pm

Running DD1.4 in Vista 64, dual core, 8600GTS. Both CPUs are being used.

There is a way to disable digital driver signing in Vista. Do not download or remove these two updates KB 932596 and KB 938979. Restart your system and then go to Windows Update (right click Computer>Properties>Windows Update ), check for available updates and hide these two updates there so they are not auto installed again.

Once that is done use VistaBootPro 3.3 to disable digital driver signing for good! No more F8!

I really like V64 and the fact that it uses DirectX10 for gaming in the Nvidia 8XX0 cards. Crysis is coming. Nice demo...

You would need to disable it to install drivers that are not digitally signed for Vista 64...genpix driver for instance or to use a host of other older devices in vista 64.
