Satellite buttons suggestions

1. Automatically switch the sat. tab when [<] and [>] buttons are pressed.

Currently it's too complicated if there are many satellites there, I have to press [>] button several times and then press sat. I need.

2. Make sat. "buttons" thinner and use shorter name, e.g. 42E instead of 42.0 °E.

3. Use multi row sat. "tab bar" - remove [<] [>] buttons completely and add a button [v] to open / enlarge sat. "tab bar", I mean the same as Ch. list properties "thing". Also save the value (opened/closed on DD close) - then, if someone wants to see all sats, he can open it, if not, close it.

...but use the same buttons as for Quick Favorites - same size, skinnable.

Current system of switching satellites is not good, several clicks are needed, it's very annoying if use have many satellites, therefore I don't use either Quick Favorites. This idea requires only one click.

I guess following feature will be faster:

right click on the satellite tabs , then just select the sat on popup menu. This feature (x05's idea) implemented on v1.1 probably.

Not a bad idea, but not faster IMO...

I just wanted to make is more alike, currently, there are several lines:

- quick fav. - button system
- sats - button system (would be a drop down menu system)
- Ch. list settings - "opec/close" system

However, if you'd choose the x05's idea, please make it auto-switch/refresh ch. list, then it would be possible to click it and quick switch by arrows or mouse wheel.

I still think that buttons to switch sats are needed, it might looks like this:

Or:

[All] [ 13E Hotbird [v] ] [/\] [\/]

Anyway, any of these two ideas would be much better as current, because it's really almost unusable if user has more that 4-5 sats, therefore I don't use it, I use ch. list tree - grouping - sat. position > fav.

I'm thinking something like a right click menu or a button similar to the quick favorites that brings up a sat list.

I often have many satellites in use. Scrolling through them a few at a time as Dreamer mentioned is sort of a headache.

Another idea - show only custom sats, then all others, as suggested above by me, or as a list:

Item [All] might be custom too.

Why? Because now there are first 3,4 sats visible, but we need mostly other (favorite) sats.
