Also, if you have any devices such as diseqc switches in the signal path you should remove them. I doubt if the 2030 can control anything like that
since it was made before they were invented.

Sorry, I don't have any previous versions as this is the first time I tried it.
It's still better than MyTheatre, Sesame TV and ProgDVB that wouldn't work at all. Since DVBapps never crashes I was just wondering if anything can be done to make it less crash prone, changing settings maybe?

Why is DD so painfully slow that it take around 2 minutes to acquire a channel while DVBapps does it in about 4 seconds (and my Samsung STB only 1 second)?
Is there any way to speed it up?

Found it under Video, of all places! It said Elecard LII was in use and I changed it to Cyberlink and it works OK now.

DD refuses to find any channels on AMC3, 12096Mhz. There is one called Daystar at 2.222Msps,H,V4130,A4131. While I am watching it on my Samsung STB I can scan with DD and it says Nothing was Found. It sounds like you didn't get the correct device. Instead of a diseqc switch you might have a 4 way splitter that only suppies power to one port, then if you move any of the cables it won't work. Or perhaps it's a switch for Dish Network, those won't work either. You should be able to move your cabl...

How do you change satellites then after a second one is added?
I've looked everywhere and can't find any option for selecting satellites.
They should add that feature next time.

I see someone wanted satellite buttons and I don't care if there are buttons but there should be some way to select different satellites! What good are options for switches and motor drives if there is not way to select another satellite? Doesn't anyone in .de land ever watch more than one?
