I found out the problem: I had no mpeg2 decoders on the PC with VLC. it should have, since i have powerdvd installed, but since there were some problems with my pc, i think the codecs were lost.

AFAIK, VLC is not a directshow player, so it doesn't need any external codecs.

Do you know that it's possible to stream more than one channnel? If you open one or more PIP channels, you can switch between channels in VLC by menu > Navigation > Programme. However, video is not smooth here, I need to test it more though... It works here...sort of. It's just that it makes DVBD t...
