DVB-S2
I don't know for other satellites, but my Skystar HD 2 can scan and decode Sky IT HD and HD Suisse on Hotbird 13E without problem.

DD & SkyStar HD2
I will try it as soon as possible!
Thank you very much for the info!
EDIT: It worked just fine! Now the problem is I don't have picture & sound with coreavc plugin. I'm trying the FTA National Geographic HD on Hotbird. What kind of codec you have?

Not sure about HD2
I also bought it last week but can't make it to work yet with DD's BDA driver or Scanman's alternative. DD driver says 'can't initialize hardware' and scanman's doesn't have any picure/sound/level/quality so I guess it can't start it either even without displaying any error message. I tried it on 1....

TS vs MPEG
TS is a transport stream file. This means it can hold the full broadcasted multiplexed signal, including all audio, video and data packets. In other words, by recording a .TS file you have every single channel of that transponder inside the file. It is your decision which one of them you want to wat...

1.4e
well, for me, 1.4e works better than the previous.
try the scanman's bda_all 1.07 driver to see what happens.
also, use nvidia's mpeg2 codecs. before 1.4e they had big problems but now dvbdream is stable (at least for me)

KWorld DVB-S 100 works fine with DVB Dream. I have installed the drivers released on 29/06/2007 just for some minor fixes. The driver on the original cd worked fine as well. Native BDA and scanman's BDA_ALL drivers, work both with scanman's driver having less problems on freezes or crashes (very rar...

No
Unfortunately it's not that. First of all I have 2 cards. One of them, the K-World DVB100S does not have options at all in the device menu, and the second which is a skystar2 and supports device options, it had Full TS disabled already. When I enabled it, it could not even tune on Alpha! So it's def...

Re: Freezes
Thank you for your reply, From what I saw on PID analysis there is no streaming problems and the cpu load never exceeds 0.03 (see attached image) forgot to mention in my previous post that I have 2 pci tuners, a Skystar2 and a K-World DVB100-S. I also tried to switch between various drivers (4.4.1 o...

Freezes on some channels
I'm using DVBdream to watch mainly Greek Nova Channels on Hotbird. Since last week, Alpha TV is facing a freeze every one or two seconds so it's impossible to view it anymore. The same was happening for Motors TV and Supersport 4 in the past also, but since I don't care for them, I never asked befor...

It works finally!
Yes! It can initialize my Hauppauge usb stick Win TV HVR-900 and my KWorld 310 DVB-T and both work fine as well!
I also tried it with Skystar 2 and K-World DVB-S 100 and work also with them.
My compliments for your excellent work!

Strange, I can reproduce it on 2 different TPs/satellites, with 2 different plugins, also another user from a Czech/Slovak forum can reproduce it. Are you sure all the channels are really scrambled all the time? Perhaps another user might help to clear it up... Yes I am sure. As a matter of fact th...

Re: Only 6(+1) PIP scrambled channels can be opened
[quote="Dreamer"]Only 6(+1) PIP scrambled channels can be opened. Tested with two different plugins. 19+1 PIP FTA channels can be opened without problems. That's not true. I am constanly viewing (and sometimes recording at the same time) 8 + 1 scrambled channels from the netmed bouquet on hotbird (n...

I have exactly the same problem. I had a Hauppauge HVR-900 dvb-t usb stick but could not get it to work with dvb dream, so I bought a Kworld 310U which is included on the supported devices, but I can't get any channels scanned either. Anybody happened to make it work? I read on a forum that Hybrid d...
