You won't find any player that works, unless it can split the file, like MPC. TS is not just a different format like MPG versus AVI. Thanks for the info. I was able to get it to work using MPC. I have been having some streaming issues and may have found a clue. If I record the file as an mpg file, it will playback and stream fine. If I try to record a ts file, it will not open in DD or VLC. Is there something I need to playback, decode, mux etc a ts file so it will allow vlc or dd to open ...

For a while, the new lan streaming was working great. Lately, on the remote computer, I get an error in VLC that says, increase the MTU size. I have played with it, but it still does not work. It may be a network issue, but I am lost. Any network or streaming guys out there? Thanks

I just loaded 1.4a and like what I see. I am very excited about the updated EPG. The normal channel scan found many channels. When I launch the EPG, it shows some of them (with channel name) and the programs, but for about 95% of them it gives sat transponder info and not the channel name or number....

I just tried this streaming part through VLC. It works, but I have to select the PID in VLC Naviggation menu... the problem is that it does not always correspond to the channel that I am watching. Numbers listed in VLC's navigation menu are SID from the streamed channels...

If you only have one channel open in DD, do you see more than one SID in VLC? With only 1 channel on in DD, I see anywhere between 4 and 6 channels in VLC, but they don't always have the channel I have open in DD.
