CHPT,
I noticed this type of issue is usually caused by (but not limited to) a bad driver and /or transponder lists, weak signal....
try testing different drivers, also make sure your diseqc switch is setup properly before hand with the correct settings for your LNB's. (legacy, DP, etc...)

Whats the best driver for a SkyStar 2 PCI card?
Hi Folks, Since I got my SS2 card I've been drilling it with different setups and tests but I have yet to find a flawless setup when it comes to Diseqc setup. I recently added yet another sat to my rig so now I'm on 110/119 & 82, the setup seems to confuse the beans outta my switch. I started out by...

No no, i'm still talking about receiving MPEG-4 modulated DVB-S2 transponders. I own a rotor and can select positions from about 80° east to 60° west. Amongst all of the available satellites my fav's are Astra on 19.2°, 23.5, 28.2° and Hotbird on 13.0° - all east postion with footprints on Eur...

Hi, for starters, what HD networks/sats are you pointed at? I suspect your looking at the "great white north" sats on regular mpeg2 streams and NOT mpeg4. If thats the case try installing and using: - Nvidia Purvideo for video - Intervideo for audio - Overlay video render Your red audio list is beca...

I managed to find new updated transponder lists made for DVBD, scanned and all done...channels come in as they should.... Where, where? I must say after trying a slew of other DVB progs, DVBDream is the best. Agreed! TheKrell, check this link for updated transponder pack, also includes an auto upda...

Re: Advice needed - SS2 / Disqc / Legacy Setup + Statellite
Hi TheKrell, thanks for the feedback! much appreciated. to answer your question, yes, I can scan and see channels from both sats but once it completes the channels are not where their supposed to be. Example, I scanned 110, italian RAI on 600 shows up - it's supposed to be on 119 - at first I though...
