PAFF/MBAFF interleave processing
I'm not about crashes in 1.4e, I can gladly suppose it's a usual growth pain, as it always was. I'm just looking for a new ddsource.ax capable to effectively parse/demux MBAFF/PAFF H.264 streams, so the Cyberlink decoder (the only one that can use HW decode/deinterlace would never lose A/V sync unde...

Re: DD 1.4d and dropped frame information
I start this thread not to complaint about DD 1.4d, but seeking for advice/feedback on how to minimize the dropping frame issue. Obviously before DD1.4d, I have no physical measurement on the dropped frame issue. Sometime I witness the frame dropping by my eyes. but now DD 1.4d shows me exactly fra...

DD 1.4b resets DS filters faster than 1.4a crashed DD
Audio buffer blue stripe grows fast no matter what audio filter is used, but DD resets way long before it reaches right-hand limit. No amount of additional buffer memory for both video and audio changes anything, including frequency of resets (about 0.5....1 Hz, that is about 1... 2 times in a secon...

now I see red.... Greyed = present, but incompatible in DD philosophy, red = outright unavailable, even if present. Yeah, I also noticed your Generic video renderer squeezed in instead of your Overlay renderer. The worst quirk here is that they are both present in your graph. Did you try to use VMR ...

Re: Audio Renderer Problems
Is there a trick to getting the Audio Renderer to work properly? I have two choices: Realtek HD Audio and DirectSound, neither of which work -- they are both red and as a result, DirectShow is constantly "reset" which shows a quick flash of a video frame of the channel and then goes black again... ...

well, it didn't solve my problem with smooth playing DN HD H.264 streams. There's a chance that part of my problem stems from my desire to run my Mitsubishi 37" LCD TV via its VGA input (1920x1080p, with auto interleave - vector adaptive -- in CCC). It works just excellent, fluid, with obviously ful...

yeah... I will look for some mpeg4 .TS files, just to be sure. No, I don't use X1300 anymore, it's MSI 2600 XT 256MB GDDR4 w/8.401 (7.9) drivers that drives me nuts on mpeg4. Mpeg2 HD plays smooth with almost every driver/renderer combo though. Now I've got me a 2 GB extra stick of DDR2, so I have 2...

I guess I would need another 2 GB stick of RAM... oh well. Nothing else helped much. I don't think Sonic audio decoder matters much though, as I don't have it. Other than that I tried to reproduce your config, up to excluding every other H.264 codec out of DD grab -- nothing. Best I could get was je...

To: no1ninja Please elaborate: -- in DD, what codecs/filters and also renderers and audio filters you use for both HD mpeg2 (I can play these just fine) and HD mpeg4 (screen is black and DD crashes in seconds), so it 1)plays smooth, 2)nothing grayed out? -- in Radlight (if you used it, of course), d...

count me in: DN HD mpeg4 channels on 110w (like HDPPV) are stuttering and in literally seconds lose A/V sync and freeze to a halt/DD hung/or even WinXP reboots. DN/Bev HD mpeg2 plays just fine with Purevideo, stutters a little only with the quality renderer like VMR9. I'm waiting for my MSI HD2600 X...

Re: upgraded from x1600 to 2600xt and lost HD playback
Hi guys, I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!!! However, I just put in a Sapphire HD 2600XT today and lost my HD playback. I used to run a X1600PRO HDMI. I use the ATI codec... everything was fine until I chaged cards. I still get STD channels... just the HDTV is blank. Any sollutions? Curiously enough, I've got ...

are there any fresh betas to test?
I'd be only glad to test DD beta presumably capable of: 1) correct/corrected/improved hadling (parsing) of DN flavour of HD mpeg4/H.264 2) improved autograph capabilities for registering as active all installed H.264 codecs, especially for ATi/Avivo/HD2x00 hardware 3) improved internal EPG parser Ar...
