I'd like to ressurect this thread as I'm having the same problem on AMD 5200+ x2. So it sounds like it has something to do with Dual Core CPU's. a 5200+ x2 has PLENTY of horsepower. I am interested in making the switch from MyTheatre as it tends to be a bit flaky sometimes and I like the interface and features on DVBdream better.
