Yup. The console user that gets the fault is a Power User. Even under my own account (an admin account) it faults. The console user has been given Modify (full) access to the c:\dvbdream. The Terminal Services session is run under an admin-account. Oh, and I forgot to specify -- the evening console ...

Renderless Mode + Terminal Services = kernel32.dll fault
I am currently running DD 1.4h under Windows Server 2003 w/SP2. Other than what I am about to describe, everything works great! What I (used to) do is login to Terminal Services and open DD with /renderlessmode=on and let it + em**ation do their thing. I do this because my main computer is in the ba...

The parts for this PC were purchased August 28, 2007. I worked for a good couple of weeks to get this thing tweaked with DD but gave up and went with DVBViewer; DirectX is the latest and greatest (for the sake of argument, I tried updating again and there was nothing to update). Though the Active DirectShow filters list on the right of those screenshots does not seem to correspo...

Hi rel, Trust me, I've tried it all -- up until a few weeks ago when I finally got DVBViewer working, I tried for a good month to get DD working... the Intervideo codecs on clean install after clean install, Cyberlink, ATI, AC3Filter, FFDShow... The only reason I switched to DVBViewer was because of...

Audio Renderer Problems
Is there a trick to getting the Audio Renderer to work properly? I have two choices: Realtek HD Audio and DirectSound, neither of which work -- they are both red and as a result, DirectShow is constantly "reset" which shows a quick flash of a video frame of the channel and then goes black again... R...
