- close dd - delete settings.cfg - restart dd that got me halfway- on the one hand dvb dream now opens, but it also gives an error "Cannot initialize dvb hardware errorcode 1 application will work in offline mode". Before that when dvb dreamw as minimized I could hear sound so my hardware is ok.

Maybe you can try to start DD on fullscreen :
shortcut propriety : just modify and add "/fullscreen" like that :
"C:\dvbdream\dvbdream.exe" /fullscreen

I have a motorized dish that's connected via diseq 2.0. The problem that I face is that to scan any given satellite/transponder I first have to go to the diseq options, change the satellite, and only then go to the scanning for it to appear, any way to have them all available?

how do I remove the tv-like overlays on top of any channel I'm watching- like for instance the volume indicator and the epg? I tried changing all the things in the video settings like elecard/vmr9/etv but whatever I select they stay there.
